Where can I exchange money in Suriname?

Exchange money at a bank or at a licensed exchange office, known as a "cambio".

• Who may exchange: the Central Bank of Suriname states that only licensed exchange offices and foreign exchange banks are authorized to exchange money with the public.
• Avoid: unauthorized individuals on the street, for safety and legal reasons.
• Rates: compare a couple of providers before you exchange a large amount.
